Why WiseRoof
We built the service we'd want if we were the homeowner. Here's what that means in practice.
Transparent pricing
Every estimate shows its work. You see labor, materials, tear-off, permits, and contractor overhead — as separate line items — before you talk to anyone. Not a magic number that appeared from nowhere.
When you hire through us, the itemized quote you approved is the same document the contractor works from. If the scope changes, we show you the revised line and explain why.
How we make money (and why it's aligned with you)
We're paid a flat referral fee by the contractor when you choose to hire one through us — never by you. The fee is higher when we act as your concierge service (our concierge service) because we do more of the work, but it still comes from the contractor, not you. We show it as a line item on your itemized quote so you can see exactly what we're paid. We don't get a percentage of your job, so there's no incentive for us to push you toward a bigger roof than you need.
No pressure — we move at your pace
No countdown timers. No “this price expires today.” No calls from twelve contractors. Get an estimate, sit on it, come back in a month. Your WiseRoof Advisor is there when you're ready — not before. And if you decide to hire a contractor you found yourself, that's great too. We'd rather you make the right call than feel pressured into hiring through us.
One human, start to finish
When you engage WiseRoof, you're assigned one named Advisor — not a call center queue, not a ticket system. That person knows your roof, your timeline, and your budget. They handle contractor communication, schedule coordination, and stay reachable through the end of the job.
Our contractor vetting standard
We don't take every contractor who wants in. To be a WiseRoof partner, a contractor has to meet — and keep meeting — every one of these:
We re-check every partner every six months. If they slip on any of these, we drop them — even if it costs us volume.
